Law & Order SVU fans rejoice! Christopher Meloni returning for spin-off

evoke.ieHe may have broken our, and his partner Olivia Benson’s heart when he left Law & Order SVU but it looks like Elliot Stabler is coming back to our screens.
Actor Christopher Meloni is returning to the role of Stabler for a new spin-off series created by Law & Order’s Dick Wolf.
The series, according to Deadline, will be 13 episodes and will follow Stabler and his NYPD organised crime unit. Wolf recently signed a new five-year, nine-figure, multi-platform deal with Universal Television and this deal includes multiple series commitments.
It’s unclear at the moment if the new series will include the Law & Order moniker or not but it does set us up for some crossovers with Meloni’s former SVU castmates.
