Lauren Goodger has shared how she made her new tattoo extra ‘special’ by getting her late baby girl’s ashes included in the ink. The former Towie star was left heartbroken following the death of her newborn daughter Lorena, her second child with ex-boyfriend Charles Drury, just moments after being born.
In a poignant tribute to the little one, Lauren recently had her name ‘Lorena’ tattooed on the side of her forearm. However, she’s now shared more details about the new ink alongside a new photo, showing Lorena’s name written in cursive with the outline of a butterfly at the end.
Lauren, 35, wrote in her Instagram stories on Sunday: ‘So my Lorena tattoo has been tattooed with her ashes. It’s something special.
Her ashes are now tattooed in me forever.’ She added: ‘Everyday I go through my list that is full of things I have to do either for my babies, my home, my future for my Larose and my [angel] baby… this was one on my list that was on my mind everyday and I’m so glad it’s [ticked off].’ The TV star had earlier shared a fresh photo of her tattoo and wrote: ‘Today… for you my baby girl,’ with Celine Dion’s A Mother’s Prayer playing in the background.
