The late Queen had a dry response to a pressing question from Prince Louis at a big event. The five-year-old has quickly become a firm favourite of royal fans whenever he makes appearances at royal events alongside his family.

And when celebrations for the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee were in full swing back in 2022, Louis' big personality was on display at each event he attended.Trooping the Colour, the monarch's birthday parade which sees a flypast take place as the Royal Family appears on the Buckingham Palace balcony, was no exception. This was a central part of the celebrations - and, according to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, it was then when Louis asked his great-grandmother a question about what was about to happen. At the time, Freeman told the Mirror that - as Louis waited excitedly for the Red Arrows to appear - he turned to his great-grandmother.Freeman believes the young prince said: "Are the Red Arrows coming?", to which the Queen had a characteristically dry response, replying: "I hope so".When the Red Arrows arrived and provided the finale to the impressive flypast, with white red, and blue trailing behind them, the late Queen said to Louis, "There it is," to which Louis responded, "Oh Red Arrows, whoa" and excitedly said "Yes, yes, yes!" as they arrived.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see who is signed up and no one can send messages except the Daily Record team. All you have to do is click here if you're on mobile, select 'Join Community' and you're in!If you're on a desktop, simply scan the QR code above with your phone and
