Late Late Show viewers have praised an Irish business founder as a ‘genuinely grateful gentleman’ after his emotional reaction to receiving a €15,000 boost for his company on the show last night.

Mike Devaney was a guest on the show alongside other Irish entrepreneurs to promote his business Heptagon Houses as part of the Taking Care Of Business special that selected people from all corners of the country to showcase their products.

When Ryan revealed to Mike that he would be walking away from the show with €15,000 and told him ‘you sum up exactly what the county needed which was to turn it around, pick yourself up as the song says and plough on,’ the Co Galway native became emotional.
