Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.
Landmark Perth hotel strikes major deal that could make it five-star venue

It has been revealed that the hotel had signed a partnership agreement with the Radisson Hotel Group in 2021 and there has been a multi-million pound investment in refurbishing the entire hotel to meet the standards of the Radisson Blu franchise.The Radisson Hotel Group is one of the world’s largest hotel groups with nine distinctive hotel brands in its portfolio, and more than 1600 hotels in operation and under development in 120 countries.Radisson Blu is the “upper upscale hotel brand” in that portfolio and specialises in providing high end four and five-star hotel services in major cities, key airport gateways and leisure destinations.
The Station Hotel, located adjacent to Perth Train Station, will open the newly revamped areas of the building later this summer.Hotel general manager Asen Panagonov hopes the move can “reinstate the hotel as the crown jewel of Perth”. “We are delighted to be bringing much needed upscale hotel quality to Perth, especially under the Radisson Blu brand,” they added. “Our partnership with Radisson will help to radically improve our offering in the fast-growing Perth corporate and leisure market.
