Russell Young, 62, switched his sunny Melbourne home for a life in Failsworth in 2016 to be with his long-term partner, 56-year-old Tracie, who managed The Sun Inn on Oldham Road.

After 12 years of setting alarms to catch each other in the middle of the night, and falling asleep whilst on the phone to each other, the pair finally thought they could focus on their relationship - without nearly 10,000 miles between them.
