Lance Bass finally opened up about his battle with psoriatic arthritis in an interview with People.The 43-year-old singer-songwriter was diagnosed with the condition in 2017 after unknowingly dealing with symptoms for years.'I had symptoms before, but you know, I kind of just dealt with it, not knowing exactly what it was,' he told the outlet. 'I was a dancer my whole life, so I just kind of figured it was because of dancing.' Psoriatic arthritis is an arthritis accompanied by the skin condition psoriasis which, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine, 'causes red, scaly rashes and thick, pitted fingernails.'While psoriatic arthritis causes stiff joints just like rheumatoid arthritis, it tends to affect less of them than rheumatoid.
