A man accused of being "abusive and verbally aggressive" towards former health secretary Matt Hancock has denied a charge of harassment.
Geza Tarjanyi, 62, of Leyland in Lancashire, denied causing harassment without violence when he appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the charge, Tarjanyi is accused of "pursuing” the MP on multiple occasions between January 18 and 25 and being “abusive and verbally aggressive towards him”.
The court hearing was told that the alleged incidents occurred at different locations including at a security gate and at Westminster Underground station.
