Lanarkshire secondary school locked down after reports of armed man on campus

A teenager has been arrested after a Lanarkshire high school was locked down on Monday following reports that a masked man allegedly carrying a knife had entered the premises.

The man was reportedly spotted at Strathaven Academy around 10.30am with emergency services racing to the scene.
