Lanarkshire community cinema set to screen first film after Lotto cash boost

A community cinema in East Kilbride is set to launch this month thanks to funding from the National Lottery. On Wednesday, September 28 at 2pm EK Community Cinema will show its first movie in St Andrew's Methodist Church in Greenhills.After many months of planning, this new monthly venture is aimed at creating a safe welcoming place for the community to meet, enjoy refreshments in the café, and enjoy watching a film on the big screen.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
