Los Angeles FC certainly aren't ushering Mateusz Bogusz out the door amid serious transfer interest from Celtic. An offer is on the table for the Pole, but LAFC but Record Sport understands it doesn't meet the MLS franchise's valuation, although talks are ongoing between the clubs ahead of Friday's transfer deadline.

There is unlikely to be much movement until then, with Bogusz in action for LA tonight on the west coast of the States against the Seattle Sounders. That kicks off at 3.30AM UK time, and LA may well be making a point with their pre-game graphics on social media.

Their match promo features Bogusz front and centre ahead of the Western Conference Clash. With Celtic about to smash their transfer record to land Arne Engels from Augsburg, LA will expect the Hoops to pony up if they are serious about signing former Leeds United man Bogusz as well.Bogusz has trained ahead of the game at the Starfire Sports complex.

But all eyes will be on whether he is included in Steve Cherundolo's squad. A starting berth will almost certainly mean that more work is to be done on Celtic's Park, although if he's posted missing, then hopes a deal is imminent will come to the fore, with less than two days to get everything signed and sealed.Follow Record Sport on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all of the up-to-the minute breaking news, video and audio on the SPFL, the Scotland national team and beyond. You can also follow our dedicated Rangers and Celtic podcast pages and sign up to our newsletters to make sure you never miss a beat throughout the season.
