Lady Gaga is the lady of the night at the 2022 New York Film Critics Circle Awards! The 35-year-old entertainer was joined by former Vice President Al Gore on the red carpet at the awards ceremony on Wednesday night (March 16) at TAO Downtown in New York City. Gaga received the Best Actress award for her movie House of Gucci, as was announced back in December 2021.
Also in attendance at the event were Licorice Pizza stars Alana Haim, Cooper Hoffman, and Benny Safdie, who represented Best Screenplay winner Paul Thomas Anderson. Maggie Gyllenhaal was joined by husband Peter Sarsgaard to accept the Best First Film award for her Netflix movie The Lost Daughter.
Japanese filmmaker Ryusuke Hamaguchi was there to accept the Best Film award for his movie Drive My Car and The Worst Person in the World‘s star Renate Reinsve and director Joachim Trier were there to accept the Best Foreign Language Film award.
Broad City‘s Abbi Jacobson was in attendance to represent her movie The Mitchells vs. the Machines, which won Best Animated Film.
