EastEnders actress Lacey Turner has revealed that if it wasn’t for private medical care, she might never have become a mother after her heartbreaking miscarriages.
Under the NHS in the UK, a woman is only applicable for tests after they’ve suffered three miscarriages, but Lacey admitted she couldn’t face a third pregnancy without knowing what was going on.
Following her first miscarriage, the soap star returned to work the next day, but in a recent interview with the Sun, she revealed how difficult it was to have no aftercare after the loss of a baby. ‘If I’d not gone private, I’d probably still have no babies,’ the actress admitted. ‘There wasn’t really any aftercare.
