Kym Marsh has called for men to get checked for prostate cancer following her father’s own diagnosis with the disease. The former Coronation Street star's dad David has just been diagnosed with an advanced form of the condition, which affects more than 40,000 men and kills over 9,000 every year.
Kym, 45, spoke about prostate cancer while on her BBC show, Morning Live, which she co-hosts alongside Gethin Jones. In the emotional segment, Kym revealed her father’s cancer had spread to other parts of his body after he put off going to the doctor during the pandemic.
