Kym Marsh has been supported by her fans and followers after sharing a glimpse at the way she and her family marked her dad's first birthday since his death.

The actress has been dealing with her heartbreaking loss after she and her family issued a statement in January confirming David Marsh's death, aged 78.

It came after David, known as Dave, shared his prostate cancer diagnosis in 2021. He appeared on BBC's Morning Live with Kym and his wife Pauline after he wanted to make others aware of the symptoms and to seek medical help.

In November 2023, Kym's parents appeared on the BBC One programme to provide an update with Kym, 47, saying they were living "day by day" as her father’s cancer had spread into his bones before it was announced on January 12 that Dave had sadly died.
