Ethan Shanfeld Kumail Nanjiani is returning to stand-up comedy after 10 years with a new special for Hulu. The hour is Nanjiani’s first comedy special in 12 years, his second after 2013’s “Beta Male.” A release date and title will be revealed at a later date.

ITV America and TheYearOfElan will produce the new special, which is executive produced by Nanjiani, Elan Gale and Bernie Schaeffer.

Nanjiani is a comedian and actor best known for his roles in the HBO comedy series “Silicon Valley” and the romantic comedy film “Big Sick,” which he co-wrote with his wife, Emily V.
