It was a topsy-turvy clash in windy conditions in Dingwall as Rangers ultimately stumbled in their defence of the Premiership title.
Amad Diallo gave them the lead in the first half but County came flying back to lead at the half-time break. And despite James Tavernier and Connor Goldson getting Rangers back in front, a stoppage-time strike from Matthew Wright secured a priceless point for the Dingwall side.
It was a performance strewn with errors from Rangers with Allan McGregor in particular culpable for two of the goals. And Boyd says he was never confident in Gers given how shaky they were at the back.
