Last month the TV star, 44, who is pregnant with her fourth child, and first with husband Travis Barker, was rushed into hospital for "urgent foetal surgery".
Kourtney has now revealed that it was a third-trimester ultrasound that uncovered the pregnancy complications, which she has credited with saving her baby's life.
Speaking to Vogue, the expectant mother said: "That experience opened my eyes to a whole new world of pregnancy that I didn’t know about in the past.
