Fans were quick to notice that Kourtney dropped her middle name “Mary” and replaced it with her maiden name of “Kardashian.” She then took to her Instagram Story to explain her name change, sharing a line from The Knot, which reads, “It’s long been tradition for the bride to take her husband’s last name, and traditionally, she drops her middle name and keeps her last (her ‘maiden’ name) as her middle name.
