Kourtney Kardashian looks incredible with a new dark purple hair colour

If you’re yet to be convinced about whether nineties and noughties beauty trends should be making a comeback, you only need to look to Kourtney Kardashian as proof of their place in 2022.The reality star has just debuted a deep purple colour that looks like it belongs in an early 2000s punk video.

In fact, we wonder if Kourt took inspiration from her husband Travis Barker for the style since the Blink-182 drummer wore a similar shade of hair colour back in the band’s heyday.

Admittedly, he wore his purple look in the form of a spiked mohawk, but the effect is comparable. Kourtney, 43, showed off her hair in an Instagram Story, where she posed in a pair of oversized jeans and a long sleeve top from her sister Kim’s SKIMS range.Though the star has previously turned to Instagram filters before to try out new hair colours, it doesn’t appear that this snap was digitally doctored, leaving us wondering if this a semi-permanent transformation for Kourt.Time will tell.

This new purple colour comes just a few weeks after Kourtney and Travis’ lavish Italian wedding , where the theme of the day was all-out gothic glam.The bride herself opted for a 60s-style bouffant updo, which screamed old school Italian elegance, while her guests and sisters wore intricate lace, red lipstick and elaborate headpieces (Khloe, we’re looking at you).Though it looks like Kourt has never been what you’d describe as a “girly girl”, since she started her relationship with Travis back in early 2021 she’s had quite the fashion and beauty overhaul.
