Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are facing backlash as they have been accused of mocking Catholicism at their Italian wedding.
The pair have been criticised for having Catholic imagery gratuitously included within their ceremony which took place on Sunday 22 May at Castello Brown castle above Portofino harbour.
Kourtney, 43, walked down the aisle wearing a white Dolce & Gabbana mini dress with a floor-sweeping veil that had the embroidered image of the Virgin Mary, matching the tattoo on Travis’ head, following more similar motifs seen throughout the occasion.Though the 46 year old drummer has previously addressed being raised Catholic and his new wife has shared her faith on Instagram, some fans were left feeling that the couple hadn’t respected the religion at their wedding due to their “lack of ties to Catholicism”.
