Zack Sharf Francis Ford Coppola is putting down $120 million of his own money to make his long-in-the-works passion project “Megalopolis.” Coppola wrote “Megalopolis” in the early 1980s and has been reportedly in talks with Oscar Isaac, Forest Whitaker and Cate Blanchett to finally get the film off the ground. Kanye «Ye» West's attorney has filed legal documents in court objecting to Kim Kardashian's request that she be legally declared single, saying he first wants his assets protected via a set of conditions that the rapper's lawyer claims his estranged wife has already rejected.In legal docs, obtained by ET, West wants the court to deny Kardashian's request to become legally single because «the motion does not provide the protections necessary for an early termination of marital status.» West's attorney laid out those concerns in docs, saying that declaring Kardashian single «before custody, property, and support issues are resolved creates a risk of adverse consequences.»The  rapper's lawyer says «this is especially true if one of the parties were to pass away while the case is pending.» Furthermore, West's lawyer argues that should the court declare Kardashian legally single, it would create «barriers to obtaining evidence if a party remarries before the case is concluded.»For starters, West's lawyer wants Kardashian to agree to a «right of reimbursement,» meaning that any money owed to each other would get reimbursed in the event one of them died. But West's lawyer claims «Kim’s counsel has asserted that this condition is unnecessary given the premarital agreement.»West also wants to ensure that no assets are transferred out of trusts they've created.

Hal Willner — the respected producer who worked with Lou Reed and Marianne Faithfull, was a long-time “Saturday Night Live” staffer and compiled a series of eccentric all-star tribute albums — died Monday at the age of 64. A rep for Willner confirmed the producer’s death to Rolling Stone. While a cause of death has yet to be announced, a source close to Willner tells Rolling Stone he was suffering from symptoms consistent with the coronavirus.
