An Edinburgh shop was robbed by a man wielding a knife on Saturday morning. Officers in the capital are appealing for witnesses to the incident, in the Warriston area of the city, to come forward.
According to Police Scotland, a man entered the shop on Montagu Terrace at 7.40am, brandishing a knife, and threatened staff to open the till.
The man, described as white, in his early 20s and between 6ft and 6ft 2ins, made off with a sum of cash. Police Scotland also said the man was wearing a black face covering, black hooded top with the hood up, black trousers and black shoes.
