Knife-wielding burglars punch man in the face during terrifying watch raid

A man was punched in the face by two knifemen during a terrifying burglary in Wilmslow. The men took four ‘high value’ watches in the incident, police say.

Cops in Cheshire say the man returned to his home, on Manchester Road, and was then punched to the face by two men on his doorstep.

The men then asked the man for his watch before kicking open the front door and taking four other watches from inside a safe.

The victim sustained an injury to his eye during the attack at 11pm on Thursday (May 26) evening. It’s thought the attackers were wearing gloves and balaclavas, and fled the property in an unknown direction.
