Knife robbery suspect hunted after horror attack in Scots city

Cops have launched an appeal after a man was robbed at knifepoint in a Scots city.The thug approached a 41-year-old man with the bladed weapon in Inverness and demanded money from him.The terrifying ordeal happened in the Old School Place area of the city.The man was not injured in the incident but has been left badly shaken.

Police have now launched a manhunt for a male suspect who is described as white, approximately 6ft tall, with slim build and aged between 20 to 30 years old.

The man was wearing a grey hooded jacket with the hood pulled up. He ran off in the direction of Rosehaugh Road.Officers are gathering any relevant CCTV footage for additional information on the suspect.Detective Constable Pam Dugdale said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact us with any information they have, even if they think it’s not relevant, please do pass it on.

I would also ask motorists to check any dash cam equipment for any images which could assist the ongoing inquiry.”"If anyone has any information, please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 1543 of 8 June 2024.
