knife embedded in a man’s head.Adrian Rosu, 25, collected three knives from his staff quarters at the Green Welly Stop cafe in Tyndrum, Perthshire, and set off towards the Tyndrum Inn after a fight over a game of pool.Witnesses described him walking down Tyndrum main street with one knife tucked into his belt and crossing and re-crossing the others in front of him to sharpen them.
Staff barred the inn door while police raced to the scene from nearly 35 miles away. One man went out armed only with a section of a pool cue to try to disarm him.The man, Barry Clark, succeeded in pinning Rosu to the ground but suffered multiple cuts as well as having the knife blade jammed in his skull.
