Kit Connor on Heartstopper Season 3's 'seven hour' sex scenes and swearing

The 20-year-old actor stars as Nick Nelson in the drama, based on Alice Oseman's graphic novel series of the same name. Joe Locke stars alongside him as boyfriend Charlie Spring.
The first two seasons see the boys' friendship blossom into a relationship as Nick comes to terms with his sexuality. But as Heartstopper fans will already know, the third season is about to explore more mature - and at times, darker - themes, including mental health, eating disorders and sex.
Speaking to The Times, Connor revealed of the latter: "We’ve been taking baby steps. Season 1, [the intimacy coordinator] would be there making sure that we were comfortable holding hands. "And now we’re doing the sex scenes.
