King Charles to have hospital treatment for enlarged prostate, Palace confirms

Charles' recent health news comes just minutes after it was revealed Kate Middleton was recovering from abdominal surgery. A statement from Buckingham Palace read: "In common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate.
His Majesty's condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure.The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation." His Majesty was keen to share the details of his diagnosis to encourage other men who may be experiencing symptoms to get checked, in line with public health advice.
According to the NHS: "Benign prostate enlargement (BPE) is the medical term to describe an enlarged prostate, a condition that can affect how you pee (urinate).
