After being proclaimed officially as our King this morning, King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla greeted crowds at The Mall this afternoon.
The Monarch and Queen Consort met well-wishers and shook hands with members of the public on Stable Yard, off The Mall in London.

Shouts of "God save the King" were also heard along with a chorus of the national anthem. This public appearance comes as Prince William and Harry stepped out with wives Kate and Meghan to greet mourners outside Windsor Castle.
