Kind boy, 12, gives away McDonald's Happy Meal to family turned away from drive-thru

A generous boy gave away his Happy Meal after McDonald's drive-thru staff refused to serve a family who didn't have a car. Sheree Claire's 12-year-old son Niall gifted his food to the upset younger boy after seeing what happened.

The mum-of-four, an NHS pharmacist, was getting a McDonald's in Leeds, West Yorks, with Niall and her mum, when she noticed the family being refused.

She offered to buy food for them - as she was in her car - but staff said she wasn't allowed due to the franchise's strict Covid rules.

But kind-hearted Niall, who recently sold his PlayStation so he would have more money to buy his sister a Christmas present, gifted the boy his Happy Meal. Should McDonalds have served the family?
