One of the stars from RTE's gripping crime drama Kin has spilled the beans on the much-anticipated third season, leaving fans on tenterhooks about the fate of the Kinsella clan. The Dublin-based gangland thriller, featuring a stellar cast including Clare Dunne, Charlie Cox, Aidan Gillen, Ciaran Hinds, and Sam Keeley, has had viewers glued to their screens.

Despite the show's acclaim and viewer magnetism, whispers have surfaced suggesting Kin might not come back for a third run due to the main cast's contracts concluding.
Sinan Sicimoglu, who portrayed the pawn shop owner where the Kinsellas stashed their cash, revealed to the Irish Sun: "It's the end of the Kinsellas because all the main actors signed three-year contracts in 2020 to appear in Kin, but it's now 2024 and those contract have run out." Clare Dunne, the star who brings Kinsella matriarch Amanda to life in Kin, has opened up about the prospects of a third season, admitting that she's in the dark about any plans for new episodes.
