Kim Kardashian has clapped back at the backlash following her daughter North West's performance with The Lion King cast, where the youngster joined for a special rendition of 'I Just Can't Wait to be King' aired on the recent episode of season six of The Kardashians.

The 11 year old faced criticism last year as viewers claimed it was a case of nepotism and that another child should have had the chance.

But as North shone during her stage debut, she was supported by her proud parents Kim and Kanye, along with the entire Kardashian bunch who celebrated her performance.

Kim, reflecting on the moment in her confessional, couldn't help but boast: "She's so proud of herself, she did such a great job." She even had a sassy comeback for critics, dishing out a Mariah Carey quip: "Anyone that is hating on a kid is just like, 'I hate her', she's not there to be Mariah Carey." As North steps into the limelight, Kim embraces the 'Momager' title, once held by her own mother, Kris Jenner, who steered the careers of her siblings Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, and Rob to stardom, reports the Mirror.
