Kim Kardashian has hit back at her haters who criticised her for wearing a skimpy outfit to the Vatican. The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star, 40, had visited the state wearing a revealing see-through dress with a cut-out design on the hips, waist and back.

Visitors to the Vatican are usually expected to dress modestly, and while there is no official dress code, both men and women usually cover their knees and upper arms.

Taking to her Instagram account on Thursday night, Kim shared a selection of pictures of her trip, and insisted she had dressed modestly inside St.

Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. In the first image she donned her skimpy dress and a pair of sunglasses as she threw peace signs while stood next to a sculpture.
