Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s split may have come as a shock to some, but not to those close to them who claim they have struggled with the 13-year age gap and couldn’t make their long distance relationship work.
Kim, 41, and comedian Pete, 28, who is working in Australia on new film Wizards!, announced their split last week after nine months together, deciding to be friends with “a lot of love and respect for each other”.
But our source said: “Their age difference was becoming more and more apparent. She is more mature than Pete. Kim was exhausted and with him being in Australia, the time difference was very hard for them.
Long distance relationships are difficult.” Following the news of their separation, Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West, 45, was quick to take a swipe as he shared a fake front page of The New York Times newspaper with the headline across it reading: “Skete Davidson dead at age 28.” Kim, who is mum to North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three, was said to be furious over the now-deleted Instagram post and was “vigorously defending Pete”.
