Kilmarnock have gone top of the Championship after a late, late goal to beat rivals Ayr United.Over 6,000 fans were in attendance on a miserable Ayrshire night as the sides met at Somerset Park for the first time on league business in 28 years.
The hardy crowd weren't treated to much from Jim Duffy and Tommy Wright 's respective sides though, with a scrappy game producing few real chances of note.
However, late on substitute Brad Lyons was felled by Ayr's Markus Fjortoft to give Killie the chance to win it in the 89th minute.
It was Oli Shaw who stepped up to send the goalkeeper the wrong way and sent the travelling support wild in the Railway End.
