A killer who used a spiked garden tool to stab his victim in the back of his head has been jailed for life. Stephen Beach has been locked up for a minimum of 25 years and 104 days behind bars before he can even be considered for release.

His getaway driver, Luke Teague, who watched what was happening from his car, had also been convicted of murder was also jailed for life.

He will be behind bars for at least 20 years and 104 days before he can be considered for parole. The pair were jailed after both of them were convicted by a jury of the brutal murder of Stephen Bellamy - even though it was only Beach who actually attacked him.

The victim fell to the ground and Beach quickly got into Teague’s car before they drove away and later abandoned and burned out the car in remote countryside, according to Grimsby Live.
