Killer caught by police with two suitcases containing the remains of her friend jailed for life

Gareeca Gordon, 28, stabbed Phoenix Netts to death in their Birmingham accommodation in April last year after she rejected her sexual advances, a court heard.

Ms Netts could have survived the four stab wounds to her chest and torso but her killer refused to call the emergency services, leaving her to die for up to 12 hours while searching the internet for articles on 'how to fix a punctured lung'.

The court heard how Gordon used a circular saw, which she purchased on Gumtree, to dismember the body of Ms Netts before placing it
