dailyrecord.co.ukArsenal have finally agreed a wage cut with players and staff to help the club throughout the coronavirus crisis. Former Celtic star Kieran Tierney is among the players who have now agreed a 12.5 per cent that will come into effect this month.
Arsenal have been trying to get an agreement in place for the last few weeks but players weren’t willing to take too much of a payout.
And they will receive some of the money back if football returns this season with payments in place depending on league position and TV revenue.A statement said: "We are pleased to announce that we have reached a voluntary agreement with our first-team players, head coach and core coaching staff to help support the club at this critical time."
