Beale promised supporters there would be signing news ahead of the penultimate Scottish Premiership fixture against Hearts at Ibrox and it's been announced the 25-year-old is that man.
Dowell came through the youth ranks at Everton as a kid and during his time at Goodison Park had loan spells at Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Derby and Wigan - before signing for Norwich in 2020.
He left Carrow Road following the expiration of contract and Beale has wasted no time in snapping him up.The player told the Rangers website: "I’m buzzing and really glad to get it done early towards the end of the season.
