Police probe after break-in and deliberate car fire at Scots high school

Police are calling for witnesses after a car was set on fire at a Scots high school.Emergency services in Fort William were called to the scene of the blaze at Lochaber High School in the Camaghael area around 6am this morning, March 15.Around 7am officers received reports of a break-in at the school.Scottish Fire and Rescue managed to extinguish the blaze and police have confirmed the fire is being treated as deliberate.Thankfully no one was injured in the incident.Officers are looking for witnesses in connection with the fire and an earlier act of vandalism around 3.40am in which a window on house on Kilmallie Road was smashed.Sergeant Chris Hardwick of Fort William Police Office said: “We are carrying out enquiries into these incidents.
