A popular sporting reminiscence group is making a long-awaited return to in-person monthly meetings and is inviting both new faces and existing members to share their experiences.
Football Memories is run by Airdrie-based organisation Diamonds in the Community, allowing people living with memory issues such as dementia as well as those who are older or living in isolation to come together and share their memories of the beautiful game.
The group’s previous programme was halted by the Covid pandemic – but will resume this week at a new venue, with organisers also planning to expand their activities.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
