The family of missing mum-of-three Khasha Smith have spoken out for the first time just days after a man was charged with her murder saying their "hearts are broken not knowing where she is".
John Byrne, 39, was charged on September 7 almost 11 months after the 35-year-old mum from Edinburgh was last seen or heard from.
Police shared that following extensive inquiries, they believed Khasha to be dead. However, her body is yet to be found. Khasha's family have described the tragedly as a "nightmare" and vowed to "never stop searching" for the beloved mum.
However, without being able to have a funeral they have set up a new fundraiser for a memorial bench for her daughter's to visit.
