Kevin James' Son Tricked Him Into Getting an Oculus So He Could Play An Unconventional Reality Game

Kevin James is opening up about how his son, Kannon, tricked him into getting an Oculus for him with the promise of getting more active.

The Home Team star appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this week to talk about his new Netflix movie, and while catching up about his family, revealed how Kannon had convinced him to get an Oculus, only to play a job simulator game. Click inside to read more… Kevin explained that he was trying to convince Kannon to get more active as he tends to like playing video games more than anything else.

So, Kannon then convinced him to get an Oculus by teasing that it had active games on there, like boxing. “I wish I was making this up about my kid,” Kevin said. “The first day he has it, I walk down the steps [in our home] and he’s in the foyer, standing with the mask on.

He’s literally just standing there for 10 minutes, just nothing. Then, every once in a while, I’ll just see this…” Kevin then mimicked his hands to what Kannon had been doing. “I go, it doesn’t look like he’s fighting Apollo Creed at all…I literally rip the mask off of him and ask ‘What are you watching?’” As Kevin put the mask on himself, he saw that Kannon had downloaded a “job simulator for virtual reality.
