Kevin Costner‘s ex Christine Baumgartner attempted to make a case for increasing the actor’s child support payments while in court on Thursday (August 31).
Earlier this week it was reported that she was asking for $175,057 a month from Kevin to care for their three children.
That would have been a $46,000 increase from what the courts previously appointed. Her team presented a new number and explained why they felt it was warranted. Read more about Christine Baumgartner’s request… People noted that Christine‘s lawyer John Rydell presented a lower amount of child support that they’d accept – $161,592.
They claimed that Kevin brought in an average of $19,248,467 over the last two years. Assuming he was earning more than $1.6 million a month and that the parents maintained 50/50 custody, Christine should theoretically be entitled to $175,057.
