Last year, Kevin Costner could not attend the Golden Globes where he won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama for his starring role in Yellowstone.
While not nominated this year, he was back as a presenter, paired with America Ferrera of the most nominated movie, blockbuster Barbie.
Ferrera opened their banter by admitting what a big fan she is of Costner’s, telling him that the emotional goodbye scene in The Bodyguard between Costner and Whitney Houston set to the late singer’s rendition to “I Will Always Love You” gives her chills.
Costner returned the favor by reciting Ferrera’s now-famous monologue from Barbie, in which her character tells Margot Robbie’s Barbie, “It’s literally impossible to be a woman.
