Kevin Clifton has claimed he is growing jealous of his girlfriend Stacey Dooley as he has watched her carry on working during lockdown while his career has been put on hold.

The 37-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing star is one of hundreds of thousands of UK performers who have seen their career put on an indefinite hold by the COVID-19 outbreak.

While many industries have been given support during the past few months of unprecedented public health fears, the performing industries has seen a lack of grants and furlough schemes.

While venues across the UK fear with will be shutdown forever as there is no end in sight of the lockdown measures that continue to affect them.
