A representative for the star confirmed the tragic news to Pitchfork. Drakeo paid tribute on Twitter, writing: "Long live Ketchy The Great," before revealing his friend was hit by a car.
In a message Instagram, he explained: "It's on the news. It's on the s**t. N**** got hit by a car... You know they finna start, though." He added to a fan on Twitter: "He got hit by a random..." Rapper Biz Markie also paid tribute, writing in a post on Twitter: "RIP Ketchy the Great.
