Kerry Katona has commended Page 3 calling it a “positive influence for women” and said she would very much like to appear on it herself.

Speaking in her new magazine column, the 41 year old championed the newspaper photoshoots, which famously featured glamour models including the likes of Katie Price and Kelly Brook, though the tabloid tradition has since died down.

Kerry herself appeared on Page 3 at the beginning of her career and confessed that she would be open to starring on it again as she discussed her love for it still after all these years. “Former glamour model Sam Fox has called for the return of Page 3, as she thinks it’s a positive influence for women.

I totally agree with her,” Kerry said. “I believe I got where I am today because of Page 3. I never actually officially did it, but I often featured on Page 3 fully clothed.
