Kerry Katona has expressed her regret at having undergone surgery two years ago and not allowing herself time to recover, saying she feels "sick" when she looks in the mirror.

The mum of five, 42, who is set to appear on new E4 show The Big Celebrity Detox, opened up about her struggles with her body image and told how she regrets going "straight into work" after undergoing surgery.

In her new! column, the Atomic Kitten star said: "Even now, I look in the mirror and feel sick. I had surgery two years ago and went straight into work. "I should never have done it and its f***ed my body up.

My legs are like tree trunks - they're so swollen, so sore. So it's about learning to accept your body changing." She added: "I'm like a flat pack from IKEA, I've been sliced and diced that much.
