Kensington Palace has issued a statement amid the controversy surrounding the media's focus on Kate Middleton's fashion choices over her charity work.
It was recently reported by The Times that the Palace would cease sharing details about Kate's outfits during Royal events, as the Princess prefers attention on her work rather than her attire.
It was reported that Kate finds it "frustrating and difficult" when her appearance overshadows her work. Since marrying Prince William in April 2011, Kensington Palace has traditionally disclosed what Kate wears for public appearances.
However, a royal source told the publication: "There is an absolute feeling that it [the public work] is not about what the princess is wearing.
